Description

420 m SW of Rosen mining village square. At foot of Medni Rid, SE of Golyam Rosen Bair. Metallurgical slag, copper ore pieces, wheel-made pottery, stone quern fragment. Linear NE–SW opencast mine ~90 m visible (estimated >250 m original), max width 16 m. Eight areas of red fired clay (~1000 m²) on NW heap — metallurgical kiln remains. Last copper mine, closed 1995.
